Melissa was born in Houston, TX and graduated from Texas State University in 2008. She is a former elementary teacher turned self-published author. She loves books and inspiring others to find joy in reading. She enjoys spending time thinking of Tripp's next adventure. During her free time, she loves cooking, grilling, puzzling, and Pilates. She also enjoys spending time with her family.
